At each wellness appointment, we will evaluate your pet’s dental health, and make recommendations for professional dental cleanings when appropriate.
Vaccination
Based on your pet’s lifestyle and previous vaccines, our veterinary team may recommend boosters or additional vaccinations to ensure complete protection against infectious diseases.
Blood work
Annual blood work can provide powerful insight into your pet’s organ function, and help us spot potentially damaging trends and patterns.
Parasite prevention
We recommend year-round flea, tick, and heartworm prevention to safeguard cats and dogs from the discomfort and diseases caused by internal and external parasites.
Infectious disease screening
Adult dogs are screened annually for heartworm and tick-borne diseases. Early detection of these diseases can allow for more successful treatment, and a better prognosis.
Intestinal parasite screening
Intestinal parasites can cause gastrointestinal issues, weight loss, and dehydration. We will screen your pet’s stool for microscopic parasites and parasite eggs, and recommend appropriate treatment if parasites are found.
Nutrition
Your pet’s body condition can affect their lifelong health. Obese pets are at an increased risk for cancer, arthritis, and orthopedic disease. If your pet is overweight, we’ll review their current diet and make nutrition recommendations for safe and effective weight loss. We will also ensure the food you choose can adequately support your pet for optimal lifelong health.
Dental care
Since dental disease is so prevalent among pets, we want to help you stay on top of your pet’s dental health. Preventing painful dental disease starts at home with regular brushing, dental chews, and water additives to reduce plaque and tartar. Our team can make specific recommendations to make dental care easy and enjoyable for you and your pet.
